This Company nor this website will make any claim about the validity of information about the assets on the site, nor can we provide advice nor information regarding those assets. This website provides the mechanism by which the vehicles can be sold, and documentation of the final sales price. The website nor its parent company, Fire Truck Auction, LLC, act as an agent in these transaction between buyers and sellers, nor does the company provide information regarding the vehicles listed on the site. The transactions occur solely between the buyer and the seller. This website, nor its parent company make any claim as to the accuracy of information contained within listings and will be held harmless regarding any claims arising from inaccurate information.

Submitting a bid constitutes a contract to purchase the asset from the Municipality, Fire Department, or Emergency Response Agency that is selling the vehicle. Lack of payment within the terms laid out by the Seller may result in banishment and removal from the website, breach of contract, and prosecution.
As a Seller using this site, you hereby state and authorize that you are a Government Agency, Fire Department, or Public Safety Entity, and have appropriate, legal authorization and authority to offer the asset for sale as advertised. The Sellers agree to posting thorough and accurate information, and responding promptly to questions about the items for sale. Ownership paperwork, titles, or other documents stating ownership should be ready for transfer and available for inspection upon request by a potential bidder.
The Seller agrees to pay the following fees, based on the sale price, and is charged only when a sale occurs. The Seller agrees to pay the fee promptly upon completion of the sale and receipt of the invoice:
- Up to $100,000 - 10 % fee
- Up to $150,000 - 7 % fee
- $150,001 and over - 5 % fee
During the time an auction is in-force, a vehicle may not be advertised for sale in other locations, except where expressly authorized by Fire Truck Auction, LLC.
The Buyer agrees to pay the Buyer's Premium promptly upon completion of the sale and receipt of invoice, as assessed on each vehicle, which is indicated in the information of the item listed. When submitting a bid, you agree that you have the authorization and authority to submit such bid, the funding to fulfill the commitment, and entering any bid constitutes a contract to purchase the asset as described. Following an auction close, re-listing is available for an unlimited number of auctions. In the case of not re-listing an auction for an item which has not sold, any sale within 180 days of the auction close, to a party who located the item through www.governmentfiretrucks.com, will be subject to both the buyer's and seller's fee, and will be due upon completion of the sale. The buyer and seller should notify the auction if conversations about the subject item continue beyond the point of the auction close. In the case that a sale occurs during this period whose buyer did not result from the truck's advertisement through this auction, both the buyer and seller can sign an affidavit stating how the introduction between the buyer and seller was made, noting the source this did occur outside of this auction.
